Shooting bands is one of my favourite past times. Drinking cheap beer at an inflated cost is part and parcel of watching your favourite musicians sweat it out within jizzing distance. New Zealand is pretty strict with underage drinking, so harsh that kids can’t watch their favourite artists in their natural habitat – dark, dank, cess-pit, dive bars. Instead the only way to allow the biggest consumers of music to see their favourite acts is by setting up ‘all ages’ gigs where no booze is sold or consumed. Much to my dismay this killer gig was completely dry.
I had fun and I’m pretty sure most of the kids did too, despite their idgaf attitudes.
